Multi-Colored Synthetic Crochet Dreads

Here is a set of crochet dreads that I've started. They are made from blended kanekalon hair.

Dying Merino Wool Roving

I'm dying some merino wool roving. It was light creamy white to begin with. I'm using an acid dye soaking technique. It sounds more toxic than what it actually is... The acid is just plain white vinegar, and the dye is food coloring mixed with water.

Rinsed and almost completely dry
Soon I'll be making this into some lovely dreads
