Multi-Colored Synthetic Crochet Dreads

Here is a set of crochet dreads that I've started. They are made from blended kanekalon hair.

Hand Dyed Wool Dreads

Merino wool double-ended dreads. I hand dyed these using non-toxic acid dyes. The colors range from a deep burgundy/purple to pale periwinkle blue and aqua.

Kanekalon Curls

I've been making some pretty little pastel and black colored kanekalon curls... I'm not entirely sure what I'll be doing with them, but it will be fun! I'm thinking of mixing these shorter curls with some of my hand-made krinklepuff style marley braid.

Dying Merino Wool Roving

I'm dying some merino wool roving. It was light creamy white to begin with. I'm using an acid dye soaking technique. It sounds more toxic than what it actually is... The acid is just plain white vinegar, and the dye is food coloring mixed with water.
